We believe that food plays a central role in offering genuine welcome and hospitality.
Ali’s professional skills and passion for local, ethically sourced food ensures that nourishing meals
are made with love and care, attractively presented and delicious to eat!

Breakfasts consist of a range of cereals, juices, fruit, home-made bread and preserves and a range of
imaginative cooked options.

Evening meals offer a choice of two or three starters, main courses and mouth-watering
home-made desserts. We are delighted to have food producers nearby who are dedicated to the slow food movement
and organic methods of farming. Our meat is locally sourced wherever possible. Beef comes from Ardalanish Organic Farm
on the Ross of Mull, venison from the Pennyghael Estate, and lamb either from Ardalanish or Lagandorain, a working
croft at the north end of Iona. We also place high importance on cooking imaginative vegetarian meals and equally
welcoming and high-quality meals for those with special dietary requirements.

We are committed to the Fairtrade movement and all our teas, coffees, hot chocolate and sugars are ordered from
recognised Fairtrade suppliers. What’s more, just across the water, Iona has recently been awarded Fairtrade Island Status!

There are two nights each week on which we don't serve evening meals, usually Sundays and Mondays.
There may be exceptions to this, just check with us by phone or e-mail before you make your booking. Thank you.
There is no table licence at Staffa House but guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages
and enjoy these as part of their evening meal. No corkage charge is requested.
